Presenting Films for Hope
The Mission of GYP Films
To reach out a hand to the hopeless and lift them up, so they can rise and find their golden days.
Hope
The thing about hopelessness is that it’s the deepest you can go, but it still has no power. Hope is always found at the very bottom of a pit. No matter how dark or impossible it seems, or how long you’ve been falling for, you’re only getting closer to your breakthrough.
Relatability
A message isn’t any good without it connecting and meaning something personally to those it’s trying to reach.
At GYP, we take real life experiences and pour God’s love into them.
Application
Every story told by our writers, authors, and actors/actresses shows an example of the needed love in the places that are lacking it.
Compassion and grace
For those who have felt lost and can’t find their way, or for those who have been torn down by others, we offer you a hand to lift your heart and show you the love you deserve and help you find a second chance.
Encouragement
For those who are ready to give up, or have been ready to give up for a long long time… wherever you’re at on your weary journey, we’re here to press on alongside you and lift you up to give you new breath, inspiration, and will to dream on forward.
Light and redemption
For those who have lost years to darkness or have never tasted its gold, and for those who have wandered off the path and are looking for home… here we are as a lighthouse and a beacon…It’s not over for you yet.
Upcoming performances
Short film, feature film, and live stage performances…
Kanda Land
Feature Film, 2026/27
Two coming of age long-lost lovers meet again on the run from the people and feelings in their lives. They join together (more or less) to help each other sort through the tangled mess that the years of drama have caused both between them and in their paths to a brighter future. Where can goodness be found when hope has always been the noose rather than the savior?
Junebugs
Short Film, ???
Junebugs is a short story about two old friends who reunite after five years and talk about love, divorce, and death of a parent. They ultimately find solace in each other’s company.
“Miracles are only unexpected, not impossible. Don’t get the two confused.”
