Did you find the role you want to play, on the cast page, and read about the character, get a feel for the character/role, fall in love with the character/role?

Great! Then,…

To apply:

please have a cover letter handy
a resume (or at least a compilation of all the films and roles you’ve played, along with accolades, awards, etc.)
your name (of course) and headshot
tell me a little about your story and why you’re excited to play the role you’ve chosen!
(Do you connect with the character’s story at a heart level? Do you love exploring/perfecting a featured topic or characteristic that they portray? etc.).
You may also want to include helpful portfolio links (like to your IMDb, Backstage profile, your website, a social media you post your talent to, etc.) so that I can get a feel for your passion and acting style!

Lastly, since it’s so easy to forget the simplest things (I’m a culprit), please remember to put the name of the role you are applying for in the header of your email.
